Hi can somebody please give me some advice. The other day my pull start jammed on my GX21 engine. On further investigation I discovered that small shards of metal from something where causing the piston to become jammed in the piston sleeve. At first I though a head gasket had gome but now I feel this isn't the case. I have removed the engine and removed the shards of metal from it and now it seems to run fine. Now I have installed the engine back on to the truck I can't seem to get the clutch to engage and drive the gears even of full throttle. So here are my questions
What could have caused the small shards of metal?
Why won't my clutch engine any more?
Please please help thank you.

I would but not sure how to add a photo. The mental parts where really thin, hence I thought maybe a head gasket had gone but then I thought how could they enter the combustion chamber.

Yeah the engine seems to run ok. I think the metal may have been from the outside bearing. As for the clutch I don't think I would dare start fiddling with the gear settings myself as it suggests in the link you sent I'm still quite new to nitro.

Its the old KORT venue, here's directions from old website
The track is located on the main Falmouth to Helston road, The A394. Once you see the Halfway House on your right hand side it is approx 2 mile ahead.Go down the big dip and up the overtaking lane on the other side, and turn right immediately after this in the hatchway marked in the road & take your first right.Postcode is TR13 0EL
If you get there between 9.00-9.30am that will give us a chance to have a look at your car and get you booked in for racing!

Cheers buddy, iv got a kyosho madforce kruiser. im a fan of monster trucks lol. I have in contact with Keith burgess now who is hopefully going to take a look tomorrow but will definitely be down on Sunday to see what it's all about.
