We had this 3 day event penciled in on the calender 16-18th August as an alternative to a club race day, as it would have been a good way of our club, to work alongside cornwallmrc, helping to promote the sport of RC car racing, and entertaining the wider public with a running display as many of us have done in the past years with the old club.
Unfortunately due to some rather shady goings on, our club became excluded from this prestigious county show.
So, as discussed with the drivers at last Sundays race meet, we will be holding our normal race day on the 18th of August, although our club will be represented by Mark and Martin Chapman who will be at the show for the 3 days with their family's vintage tractors & cars, with the blessing of the Shows organising committee, proudly wearing their Cornwall RC Racing T shirts, handing out leaflets and promoting our club in various ways through the weekend.
Although not yet confirmed, with the help of our friend and supporters, it would seem that our position at the 2014 show is pretty well sealed.
